Ian Choo

Ian Choo is a seasoned professional in the field of automation and robotics, currently serving as the Service Operations Manager APAC at Universal Robots since July 2018, after advancing from the role of Senior Technical Support Engineer, where technical support and application consultation were provided to distributors in Australia and New Zealand. Prior experience includes a position as a Production Engineer at Ensign Laboratories, focusing on the design of automation machines for bottling lines, and serving as an Industrial Trainee at CSIRO, where Ian contributed to the automation of laboratory processes. Additional roles include a Design Engineer at Intel Corporation, synthesizing hardware description code, and an internship at Proton, working on race vehicle development. Ian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering and Commerce from Monash University.
