Sabina Sadirkhanova

Sabina Sadirkhanova, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent position being the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Universal Service Administrative Co. (USAC), a role they have held since February 2022. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies in areas such as succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. Sabina works closely with the USAC executive management team, stakeholders, and the board of directors.

Prior to their role at USAC, Sabina served as the Director of Human Resources at the American Geophysical Union from December 2014 to February 2022. Before that, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at SourceAmerica (formerly NISH) from September 2008 to December 2014. Additionally, they have experience as an HR Generalist at Dominion Electric Supply Company, Inc. from November 2005 to September 2008, and as a Junior HR Generalist at BP Amoco (Azerbaijan Business Unit) from February 1998 to June 2000.

Throughout their career, Sabina has demonstrated their expertise in various aspects of HR management and has proven their ability to contribute strategically to organizations.

Sabina Sadirkhanova holds an MBA in Management from the University of South Alabama, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed a Pre-MBA program at the University of Colorado Boulder, called The Economics Institute, in 2000. Sabina also holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Social Service Professions from the Academy of Public Administration under President of Azerbaijan, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. In terms of certifications, Sadirkhanova earned their PHR (Professional in Human Resources) from the HR Certification Institute in February 2008, and they obtained their SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) from SHRM in February 2015.
