Steve Strandberg

Steve Strandberg has over two decades of work experience in various roles and companies. Steve is currently the Business Systems Director at Universal Service Administrative Co. (USAC) since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Director at CrossCountry Consulting from June 2019 to March 2021. Steve also served as the Manager - Digital Finance & Strategy at Verizon Enterprise Solutions from February 2017 to March 2019. Before that, they held multiple roles at XO Communications, including Director of Finance Systems - Finance, Director, Tax Technology - Finance, Director, Financial Systems - IT, and Senior Manager - Information Technology. Steve started their career as a Lead Systems Analyst - Billing Systems at XO Communications in July 2001. Steve also worked at Teligent as an IT Applications Manager, Billing from November 1998 to May 2001, and at Cornell Technical Services as an IT Consultant from October 1997 to November 1998. Steve initially started their career at Prudential as a Financial Systems Analyst - Testing Team lead from August 1995 to October 1997.

Steve Strandberg earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance, General from City University of New York-College of Staten Island in 1993. Steve later pursued an MBA in Information Systems from Baruch College from 1993 to 1995. Prior to their higher education, Steve attended St. Peter's Boys HS from 1984 to 1988, but they did not obtain a degree nor specify a field of study.
