Jim Waterman

Jim Waterman has extensive experience in advanced manufacturing and program management, currently serving as the Technical Lead for DoD Aviation Li-ion battery development at Universal Solutions International Inc. since 2014. Waterman manages technical and programmatic aspects of lithium ion battery applications while emphasizing safety and cost reduction. Prior roles include Contractor Program Manager for the Army ManTech Program, Adjunct Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Rowan University, and Program Manager at The Boeing Company, overseeing international and military rotorcraft programs. Earlier experience encompasses leadership in the production of the International Space Station's habitable modules and significant advancements in manufacturing technologies for Boeing. Jim Waterman holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lehigh University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
