Connor Chiuchiolo started working as an Engineering Division Intern at Carl Stahl Sava Industries in June 2016. During this role, they gained experience in CAD and CAM software, design intent, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, lean manufacturing, and high tolerance CNC and EDM methods for die manufacturing. Connor also collaborated with a team of engineers from accredited universities.
In June 2019, Connor became an Associate Engineer at Carl Stahl Sava Industries. In this role, they completed the design and fabrication of a cable life cycle test machine, created metrics and data to compare in-house product to competitor products, and produced improved die designs for manufacturing plants. Connor also utilized high-speed machining and wire EDM to increase precision and decrease machining time.
In January 2022, Connor was promoted to the position of Design Engineer at Carl Stahl Sava Industries. In this role, they autonomously identified high return projects and drove them to completion, documented increases in productivity and return on investment, and represented the company at trade shows.
In August 2022, Connor joined Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) as a Mechanical Engineer.
Connor Chiuchiolo attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Kinnelon High School from 2011 to 2015 and graduated with a High School degree. In addition to their formal education, Connor obtained a certification as a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Mechanical Design from Dassault Systèmes in January 2021.
