Jason Plowman

Jason Plowman has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Jason began their career in 1989 as a Staff Meteorologist in the United States Air Force, where they formulated and issued aviation forecasts and served in various roles such as Doppler Radar Manager and Space Shuttle Support Trainer. In 1998, they joined Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc., starting as a Staff Meteorologist and gradually progressing to positions of increasing responsibility. Jason has served as a Supervisor, Quality Assurance Specialist, Senior Manager, Product Manager, and most recently as the Director of Trip Support Aviation Specialty Teams. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, managed teams of meteorologists, developed and improved weather systems, and ensured compliance with regulatory standards.

Jason Plowman has a diverse education background in various fields. Jason obtained an AWS Meteorology Degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the United States Air Force. Jason also earned an A.A in Weather Technology with a focus on Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the Community College of the Air Force.

In addition to their meteorology education, Jason received business training through Company Provided Business Classes. These classes covered topics such as Coaching for Stellar Service, Essential of Business Communication, and Leadership through People Skill.

Jason also completed supplemental training courses through the United States Air Force in Hazmat, Supply Management, and Safety.

Furthermore, Jason achieved a Diploma In Business Continuity Management from IBCT The Institute for Business Continuity Training. This diploma specialized in Business Continuity Management.

Jason has obtained additional certifications, including a Diploma In Business Continuity Management as an ISO 22301 Specialist from The Institute for Business Continuity Training. Jason is also certified in Strategic Workforce Planning through the Human Capital Institute (HCI).
