Ken Paynter has a diverse work experience spanning over two companies. Ken started their career at SeqWright, where they worked as a Laboratory Technician from August 2001 to August 2002, then became a Laboratory Manager from August 2002 to August 2004, and finally served as an Operations Manager from August 2004 to September 2006.
In 2006, Paynter joined Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. In their tenure, they held multiple roles, starting as a Regional Marketing Manager from September 2006 to January 2008. Ken then became the Manager of Marketing Strategy and Tactics from January 2008 to June 2008, where they managed various marketing initiatives and implemented new web strategies.
Paynter transitioned to become the Division Marketing Manager from June 2008 to January 2010, where they successfully managed the marketing program for the company's Specialty Products unit. Following that, they served as an eMarketing Manager from January 2010 to September 2012, responsible for overseeing all emarketing initiatives and managing the web team. During this time, they developed and launched a corporate blog and social media program.
From October 2012 to December 2021, Paynter held the position of Director of Divisional Marketing, overseeing the marketing strategy for a business division within the company. Finally, they were promoted to the role of Director of Global Marketing in April 2019 and currently holds the position of Vice President of Global Marketing, starting in December 2021.
Ken Paynter attended Saint Thomas' Episcopal School from 1993 to 1997, where they earned their High School Diploma. Following that, they attended Baylor University from 1997 to 2001, majoring in Biology and Chemistry and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Ken then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business from 2002 to 2006.
