Claudia Canales

Claudia Canales is a seasoned professional in the field of Materials Engineering with extensive experience in academia and industry. Since January 2014, Claudia has served as a Professor at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, teaching courses in Materials Engineering and leading a Mechanical Testing Laboratory. Claudia's previous roles include Quality Manager at Viakable from November 2017 to January 2024 and various engineering positions at Nemak, where responsibilities included chemical lab management, process development, and the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques. Claudia's background also includes a research internship at FRISA, focusing on superalloys, and additional research experience at Nemak in the area of sand core production. Claudia holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering specialized in Materials Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, both from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
