Carlos Pardo has extensive experience in academia and educational assessment, currently serving as both a docente and Coordinador de Docencia at Universidad Católica de Colombia since July 1993. In this role, Carlos Pardo is responsible for curriculum management and teaching constructivist learning at the undergraduate level, as well as competency formation in the Specialization in Educational Psychology. Prior to their current position, Carlos Pardo worked at the Instituto Colombiano para la Evaluación de la Educación (ICFES) from October 1990 to February 2013, where roles included Asesor of the General Directorate and Subdirector Académico, specializing in the evaluation of basic, secondary, and higher education. Additionally, Carlos Pardo holds advanced degrees, including a Master's in Education from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and is a candidate for a Doctorate in Psychology from Universidad Católica de Colombia.
