Ricardo Perez del Castillo

Ricardo Perez del Castillo is an accomplished academic and IT professional with extensive experience in software quality consulting, data quality engineering, and IT systems maintenance. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Academic Director at the University of Castilla-La Mancha since October 2021, Ricardo also holds positions as a Senior Software Quality Consultant at AQCLab and Data Quality Engineer at DQTeam, both since October 2017. An established IT Professional at itestra GmbH since January 2014, Ricardo specializes in migrating legacy Mainframe systems to Java web applications using technologies like JSF, JQuery, and DB2. Additionally, contributions to software engineering research and science are evident through roles as a Scientific Researcher and former Assistant Professor & Vice-dean within the university. With a solid academic background, including a PhD and Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Ricardo has a strong foundation in reverse engineering and business process modeling developed during their PhD research and post-doctoral studies in healthcare technology.
