Claudia M. Prado-Meza

Claudia M. Prado-Meza is an experienced educator and facilitator, currently serving as a #IamRemarkable facilitator since September 2019, focusing on empowering women and underrepresented groups. Claudia has been a full-time professor and researcher at Universidad de Colima since May 2012, engaging in teaching, tutoring, and project development, alongside roles as a part-time professor in international economics and an administrative assistant in academic development. In addition to academic roles, Claudia is the president of PROCEDER, an organization dedicated to the defense and respect of human rights in Colima. Claudia's academic journey includes a PhD in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from Iowa State University, where involvement in fieldwork and research spanned numerous aspects of local food systems, gender, and sustainable practices. Claudia holds multiple degrees in economics and social sciences from both Iowa State University and Universidad de Colima.
