L. Alfonso Ureña López

L. Alfonso Ureña López serves as the Director of Cátedra Isdefe/CETEDEX-UJA at Isdefe since March 2023 and has held various academic roles at Universidad de Jaén since September 1997, including Coordinador del Programa de Doctorado en Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación, University Professor, and Director of the Department of Informatics. Additionally, L. Alfonso Ureña López is a member of the Junta de Gobierno of COSCE and previously served as President of the Sociedad Española para el Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural from September 2007 to October 2023. Prior involvement also includes serving as Secretary of SCIE from January 2009 to December 2016. L. Alfonso Ureña López earned a Doctorate in Informatics and a Licenciatura in Informatics from Universidad de Granada.
