Alicia Sánchez Fonseca

Alicia Sánchez Fonseca is a professional in architecture and urban planning with extensive experience in academia and project coordination. Currently serving as a university professor at Universidad de Monterrey since August 2023, Alicia has also led urban projects as the Coordinator of Urban Projects at Centro de Innovación y Diseño UANL. Previous teaching roles include a position at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where Alicia instructed an Urban Project Workshop for architecture students. Alicia's experience encompasses work in cultural mediation and architectural design, including significant roles at the Instituto Municipal de Planeación y Gestión Urbana and Technische Universität Dresden, where research focused on urban transport planning. Alicia holds an MSc in Integrated Urban Development and Design from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and a Licenciatura in Architecture from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
