Cristina Pita Yañez is an Economics graduate with a doctorate in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. In 1993 she became a member of the Department of Economics and Business Studies of the University of Salamaca where she teaches Foundations of Economic Analysis. She is currently Vice-Rector of the University of Salamanca.
