Johanna Salgado is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as Directora Caribe at the Women Economic Forum (WEF) since July 2019, Salgado is also an Advisory Board member for the Metro Women Business Center (MWBC) and a member of The Americas Competitiveness Exchange on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ACE) since May 2019. In addition, roles include Coordinadora del Hub de Competencias and Coordinadora del Hub de Cultura Emprendedora at Universidad del Rosario since October 2015. Salgado has been an Outreach Partner with the Zayed Future Energy Prize and manages Communications & Networking for MET COMMUNITY BRAZIL, focusing on communication strategy and connecting mentees to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. As a co-founder and owner of Crispy Fruits, Salgado specializes in project development, national and international commercialization, and marketing. Academic credentials include a degree in Leadership in Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a Master's in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Universidad del Rosario.
