Juan Camilo Neira

Juan Camilo Neira currently serves as the Director of the Department of Risks and Insurance and is a Researcher-Lecturer at Universidad Externado de Colombia since 2006, focusing on insurance law, contract law, property law, and both common and civil law. Neira has been a partner at Neira & Gómez since August 2001 and served as an advisor at the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia from November 2013 to July 2016. Academic credentials include a PhD in Law and a Master in International Banking and Insurance Law from The University of Manchester, as well as a Specialization in Procedural Law from Universidad del Rosario and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
