Jorge A. Samayoa Azmitia

Jorge A. Samayoa Azmitia is an experienced professional in sustainability project management and academic instruction. Currently serving as the Gerente de proyectos de sostenibilidad at CentraRSE since May 2023, Jorge oversees sustainability projects in collaboration with government organizations and international cooperation in Guatemala. As a full professor at Universidad Rafael Landivar and Universidad Galileo, Jorge teaches courses on professional responsibility and corporate social responsibility, respectively. Previous experience includes roles as Coordinador de cumplimiento at Pan American Silver Corp. and Coordinador de Desarrollo Social at Tahoe Resources, where Jorge led various community development initiatives. Jorge holds several advanced degrees, including a Master's in Social Responsibility from Universidad del Istmo and a Master's in International Relations from Universidad Rafael Landívar.
