Milagro Teruel

Milagro Teruel is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Engineer at Please since August 2024, Milagro previously held engineering positions at MultiOn, Nirvana, and Microsoft, with a notable role as Senior Research Software Engineer. In academia, Milagro has contributed as an Assistant Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba since April 2015, teaching courses related to Data Science and Machine Learning. Milagro’s research as a PHD student focuses on Representation Learning applied to Educational Data Mining. With a PhD in Computer Science specializing in Deep Learning and a Master's in Natural Language Processing, Milagro also co-founded MeT CBa, an organization aimed at promoting the involvement of women and underrepresented groups in technology.
