Sergio Figueroa

Sergio Figueroa currently serves as the Head of the Department of Electronic, Computer and Telecommunications Systems at the Center for Applied Research of the Argentine Air Force, overseeing project planning and management. With a background as a military officer specializing in advanced weapons systems, Sergio also holds positions as an Assistant University Professor and Adjunct Professor at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and Instituto Universitario Aeronáutico, respectively, focusing on Software Engineering and Models and Simulation. Previous experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Telecom Argentina and Mercado Libre, as well as research and development positions at SEGER and as a member of the Computer Security Incident Response Team. Sergio's educational qualifications include degrees in Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
