Gabriel Vazquez Amabile

Gabriel Vazquez Amabile is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agriculture and environmental management. As General Manager at Agropecuaria Seis Robles SRL since 2005, Gabriel oversees operations in both rainfed and irrigated crop production as well as beef cattle production in southeastern Buenos Aires. Concurrently, Gabriel serves as a Graduate Professor and Board member at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, focusing on a Master's Program in Watershed Management. As a Lead Author for the IPCC, Gabriel contributed to the 2019 Refinement of the 2006 Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories and served on the EFDB editorial board. Prior roles include leading environmental research projects at Movimiento CREA and being a partner at CONPAS. Gabriel holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural & Biological Engineering and a Master of Science in Agricultural Systems Management from Purdue University, along with specialized degrees in Soil Fertility and Agricultural Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires.
