Joela Alva

Joela Alva is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a diverse background in academia and industry. Currently serving as a part-time university professor and full-time professor in the Communications and Marketing program at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas since January 2017, Joela has also held significant leadership roles in commercial and marketing management at Instituto ELITEC and ELP Escuela Superior La Pontificia. Prior experience includes a managerial position at Papelera Nacional S.A. where responsibilities included product development and marketing strategy execution, and extensive tenure at Nestlé, where Joela achieved notable successes in trade marketing and brand management. Joela holds a Master's degree in Business Administration, a Master's in Marketing Direction, and a Bachelor's degree in Administration, all from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.
