Carlos Villamizar Rodriguez

Carlos Villamizar Rodriguez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of information security, risk management, and IT governance. Currently serving as the Country Manager at GlobalSuite Solutions since August 2012, Carlos has led operations in Colombia, focusing on business development and customer service. Prior roles include Director of Operations and LATAM Business Development Manager at GlobalSuite Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed consultancy and implementation of integrated management systems aligned with international standards. Carlos also contributes to academia as a lecturer in Information Security at Universidad Piloto de Colombia. Previous experience includes consulting roles and senior positions at Digiware de Colombia S.A, ISACA, and Protela S.A., complemented by a solid educational background with a specialization in Information Systems Auditing and a degree in Systems Engineering.
