Clara Barrabes Solanes

Clara Barrabes Solanes has extensive experience in sustainability and transformation within BBVA since April 2014, serving in various senior roles including Sustainability - RI&C Partner and Global Head of Transformation. Clara has successfully led key projects focused on capability building, workforce planning, and diversity and inclusion. Additionally, Clara holds a position as an Associate Professor in Microeconomics at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid since September 2021. Previous roles include Principal and Senior Economist at BBVA Research, as well as a Researcher at the European University Institute. Clara's educational background includes a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute, a Design Thinking Boot Camp from Stanford University, a Master's in European Economics from the College of Europe, and a DEA in Applied Economics from Universidad de Zaragoza.
