José María Díaz-Puente

José María Díaz-Puente is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in program evaluation and rural development. Currently serving as a Profesor Titular at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid since 2007, José María teaches modules related to sustainable development in agriculture and project planning, including the design of evaluations and participatory methods. Prior to this role, José María was a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University from 2005 to 2007, focusing on public policy evaluation and human development. A visiting research scholar at UC Berkeley in 2000, José María developed research on project evaluation and public policy programming. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Evaluation and Planning from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Doctor Ingeniero Agrónomo degree focused on development policy evaluation, both obtained from the same institution.
