Claudia Lorena García is a seasoned professional in circular economy and sustainability, currently serving as the Circular Economy Director at Carvajal Empaques SA and a Circular Economy Teacher at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana since August 2023. Previously, Claudia held the role of Senior Consultant at Manuia Latam, where expertise was provided to top companies on sustainable practices and innovation. As a Circular Economy Specialist at Area Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá, Claudia led a program that significantly increased the adoption of circular business models within the manufacturing sector. Claudia also managed impactful projects at FUNDES and the Americas Sustainable Development Foundation, contributing to waste management and developing strategic roadmaps for the circular economy across various Latin American countries. Claudia holds a Master of Science in Innovation & Technology Management from the University of Bath and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
