Jessica Guevara

Jessica Guevara currently serves as the Coordinadora de Carrera for the Licenciatura en Ingeniería Eléctrica y Electrónica at Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, a position held since August 2012, where responsibilities include supporting students in their academic and administrative needs and representing the program externally. In addition to this role, Jessica also contributes as a Docente e Investigador, providing lectures, conducting research, and advising on technical matters in the field of electrical engineering. Furthermore, Jessica holds the position of Coordinadora de Extensión FIE, focusing on fostering connections between the university and various business sectors to promote entrepreneurship and facilitate knowledge transfer. Prior experience includes a research assistant role at Centro de Energia, FCFM, Universidad de Chile from January 2011 to July 2012. Jessica holds a Doctorate in Electric Engineering with a specialization in Electric Markets from Universidad de Chile and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
