Jose B. is a seasoned scientific researcher with extensive experience in food safety and microbiological research. Currently at Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, Jose B. has implemented a microbiological research program focused on the development of fishery and horticultural byproducts while enhancing laboratory practices related to occupational safety and data integrity. Prior experience includes serving as a laboratory manager at Louisiana State University, where Jose B. assisted numerous companies with food safety protocols, and as a quality control manager at Baton Rouge Shrimp Company, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Jose B. also contributed to food science education through internships and roles with various organizations, including the LSU AgCenter and Purdue University, and holds a Ph.D. in Food Science from Louisiana State University.
