Karla Arosemena

Karla Arosemena serves as the Directora de Innovación y Tecnología Educativa and full-time professor at Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá since June 2009, specializing in various areas including Administration of IT Projects and E-Commerce. Arosemena holds a Master of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Web Development and Human-Computer Interaction from Rochester Institute of Technology and has extensive experience in educational roles, administrative support, and project coordination. Notable past roles include Vicepresidente de Tecnología e Innovación at Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen Panamá and President of Fulbright Panama, along with consulting on usability engineering and information architecture for software applications. Arosemena also has a background in technical support and systems engineering at the same university, contributing to significant projects such as VoIP implementation and digital signature systems.
