Isabel Maria de Oliveira Capeloa Gil

Isabel Capeloa Gil serves as the President of the Strategic Council for Research and Innovation at CIP - Confederação Empresarial de Portugal since July 2023. Isabel is a member of the University Leadership Council at GFCC | The Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils and has held the position of President at IFCU - International Federation of Catholic Universities since July 2018. Additionally, Isabel is a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and the President of the UCP Foundation and Universidade Católica Portuguesa, roles assumed in October 2016. Isabel holds the title of Honorary Fellow at the University of London - School of Advanced Studies and serves on the Advisory Board of EdRotschild Bank (Lisbon Branch). Prior advisory roles include membership on the Advisory Council at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Advisory Board of João Mata, Lda. Isabel's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in German Studies from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, alongside executive education programs at Harvard Business School.
