Heloiza Alves Pereira

Heloiza Alves Pereira is an undergraduate student in Materials Engineering at the Universidade Federal de Itajubá, where involvement includes serving as a paid student monitor for the Research Methodology discipline since March 2020. Heloiza has contributed to research initiatives, including the establishment of a Handcrafted Brick Factory in quilombola communities and the development of nanocomposites using polymer blends with inorganic fillers. Additional experience includes participation in the PET (Projeto de Educação Tutorial) to enhance Physics and Astronomy education for public school students. A recent internship at APERAM INOX SOUTH AMERICA focused on process control in stainless steel cold rolling. Educational background includes completion of Ensino Médio at Genoma Sistema de Ensino from February 2016 to December 2018.
