Gustavo Rodrigues de Souza

Gustavo Rodrigues de Souza is a Professor in the Graduate Program of Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Sao Joao del-Rei since August 2014, serving also as the Deputy Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Energy Engineering. Prior academic experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos - USP and multiple teaching positions at various engineering institutions. Gustavo completed a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on experimental and numerical studies of combustion engine intake systems, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering on heat transfer using biodiesel, and holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidade Federal de Lavras. Research and teaching have been significant components of Gustavo’s career, contributing to advancements in engineering education and research.
