Marcelo Araujo da Silva

Marcelo Araujo da Silva is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a partner at Rm Soluções Engenharia since May 2005, Marcelo specializes in structural and foundation projects across various sectors including retail, energy, telecommunications, and transportation. In academia, Marcelo holds positions as a professor of structures at Universidade Federal do ABC and a collaborator and advisor at Universidade de São Paulo, focusing on structural dynamics and optimization. Previously, Marcelo coordinated postgraduate engineering programs at UNINOVE and has held teaching roles across multiple institutions, including courses in concrete structures, stability, and reliable structural design. Marcelo's educational background includes numerous postdoctoral degrees and a doctoral degree in structural engineering from USP, complemented by international research experiences at the University of Iowa.
