Leandro Pecchia

Leandro Pecchia is an accomplished academic and leader in the fields of biomedical engineering and medical technology. Currently serving as the Director of the IoT & AI for Frugal Innovation Bootcamp 2024 at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Pecchia directs an intensive program aimed at young professionals and students, focusing on sustainability and innovation in line with the #SDG2030 vision. As a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the same institution and the University of Warwick, research interests include artificial intelligence applications in medical devices, digital health, and global health initiatives.
