Frank Thomas

Frank Thomas is an Industrial PhD Student at Energean since September 2022 and a PhD Fellow at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria. Frank is engaged in geomechanical simulations with a focus on reservoir characterization and fault system analysis, and has gained expertise in integrating seismic data with geomechanics for subsurface stability assessments, particularly in CO2 sequestration and hydrocarbon reservoirs. Additionally, Frank served as a CCUS Analyst at SEG EVOLVE and completed an Internship at Geociencias Barcelona. Frank also held leadership roles as President of the SEG Student Chapter at the University of Perugia and Team Lead at SEG EVOLVE, and has previous experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Theme Music Company Pvt. Ltd. Frank holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Geology from Università degli Studi di Perugia and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
