Saloni Patnaik

Saloni Patnaik is an experienced intern currently working at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since March 2025, contributing to ALS research utilizing zebrafish as a model system. Saloni is also a master's student at Università di Pavia since October 2021, pursuing a degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics, and has held an internship at Fondazione Mondino - Istituto Neurologico Nazionale IRCCS from January 2023 to January 2024. Prior to these roles, Saloni served as an English Language Teacher at The/Nudge Foundation and worked as a Junior Scientific Officer at Bencos Research Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Saloni holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from SRM IST Chennai and has completed secondary education at Sri Chaitanya College of Education and Sacred Heart Convent School.
