Deepshika Arasu

Deepshika Arasu is a Doctoral Student at Universitat de Barcelona since May 2021 and a PhD Candidate at Poietis as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Early Career Researcher program, expected to conclude in March 2025. Previous experience includes research roles at the Center for Neurogenomics & Cognitive Research, where synaptic phenotypes of STXBP1 syndrome were assessed, and at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, focusing on mRNA detection and excitability modulation in neurological tissue. Deepshika's research internships include Caltech as a Khorana Scholar and other institutions, contributing to diverse projects in neuroscience. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s in Neuroscience from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master of Science in Medical Neurosciences from Neurasmus, along with a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from National Institute of Technology Warangal.
