Manuel Pastor

Manuel Pastor is the Head of the PharmacoInformatics group at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where engagement in full-time teaching and research has been ongoing since 2000. As a member of the Research Group on Biomedical Informatics (GRIB), Manuel Pastor also contributed as an external collaborator at Molecular Discovery Ltd from 2000 to 2010, focusing on the development and enhancement of software. Prior experience includes serving as Scientific Responsible at Multivariate Infometric Analysis Srl, where software such as GOLPE, VolSurf, and Almond was developed, as well as undertaking post-doctoral research at both Universidad de Alcalá and the University of Perugia, enhancing expertise in structure-based drug design, molecular dynamics simulations, Chemometrics, and QSAR. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pharmacy and a post-doctorate in Chemometrics from respected institutions.
