María Gil López

María Gil López is an experienced professional in international research and innovation programs, currently serving as the Senior Advisor for International R&I Programmes at EUTOPIA University Alliance and EU Projects Manager & Research Advisor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra since March 2015. Previously, María held the position of European Projects Consultant at SigmaOrionis and completed a Bluebook Traineeship with the European Commission, focusing on Future and Emerging Technologies within DG Connect. Early career experiences include a journalist internship at TV3 - Televisió de Catalunya and a role as Medical Assistant at CENTRO MEDICO LA ELIANA SL. María holds a Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe, a Degree in Journalism from the University of Valencia, and participated in an Erasmus Exchange Program at Université libre de Bruxelles.
