Clara Apicella

Clara Apicella is a Postdoctoral Researcher at UKM Uniklinikum Muenster since April 2023. Prior to this role, Clara worked as a Research Engineer at GOURMEY from January 2022 to February 2023, and as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action Early-stage Researcher at iPLACENTA from October 2018 to December 2021, focusing on placental physiology and pathology. Clara also served as a Teaching Assistant for Molecular Biology Workshops at Université Paris-Est Créteil in two consecutive terms from September 2019 to February 2021. Earlier experience includes a position as a Research Associate at the University of Birmingham, where Clara researched cardiac arrhythmias and managed various laboratory tasks. Clara holds a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Université Paris Cité, a Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Birmingham, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Sapienza Università di Roma.
