Naser Morina

Co-head Outpatient Clinic For Victims Of Torture And War at Universitätsspital Zürich

Naser Morina, PhD has a diverse range of work experience. Naser started their career in 2008 as a Psychology Assistant at Rehaklinik Bellikon and also began working as a Research Collaborator and Psychotherapist at Universitätsspital Zürich. In 2009, they became a Visiting Researcher at the ACPMH, University of Melbourne, Australia and a Lecturer at Forum für Musiktherapie, Bellikon. In 2013, they became the Head of Research Outpatient Clinic for Victims of Torture and War at Universitätsspital Zürich, and in 2016, they became an Oberassistent at the same institution. Naser also took a sabbatical at the School of Psychology, University of New South Wales, Australia in 2016. In 2017, they became a Principal Investigator for the STRENGTHS, Horizon 2020 Project at Universität Zürich. Currently, they are also the Co-Head of the Outpatient Clinic for Victims of Torture and War at Universitätsspital Zürich.

Naser Morina, PhD, completed their education in a chronological order. Naser began by earning a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Zurich, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Advanced Studies in Psychotraumatology, completing the program from 2007 to 2009. Naser then moved on to the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg and obtained their PhD in Psychology, finishing in 2015. Finally, they continued their education at the University of Zurich and completed their Venia Legendi (Habilitation), PD in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy from 2015 to 2019.
