Davy Lila-Helmer

Davy LILA-HELMER has a robust legal and administrative background, currently serving as the Deputy General Director for Services and Director of Legal and Institutional Affairs at Université de La Réunion since July 2023. Since January 2018, Davy has also been an Expert for the ITRF competition juries at the Ministère en charge de l'enseignement supérieur et de la recherche in France. Previous roles include various significant positions at INSA Lyon from August 2010 to July 2023, such as Director of Legal Affairs and multiple referent roles addressing issues like Racism, Anti-Semitism, and Whistleblowing. Davy held the position of Chief of Litigation at the Ministère de la Justice in 2017 and served as Deputy General Director and Head of Legal Affairs at the Université de la Polynésie française from 2015 to 2016. The legal journey began as a Regional Legal Writer at Sacem from 2008 to 2010. Davy completed a Master’s degree in Law at the University of Strasbourg and pursued preparatory studies in Law and Economics at École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay.
