Danielle Maia de Souza

Danielle Maia de Souza is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in environmental engineering and sustainable coastal management. Currently serving as a Research Advisor at IVADO and a Scientific Coordinator at CIRRELT, Danielle has also held significant roles at the European Commission as an expert evaluator and rapporteur. Key previous positions include executive coordinator of the Cost to Coast project at Polytechnique Montréal and Université du Québec à Montréal, postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Alberta, and scientific officer at the European Commission Joint Research Centre. Danielle's educational background includes a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and multiple degrees in environmental management, resource management, and architecture from esteemed institutions.
