José Alexander Morales Carvajal

José Alexander Morales Carvajal is an accomplished professional in the fields of arts and education, currently serving as Animateur d’ateliers and Animateur apprentissage at Université de Montréal since March 2022. In addition, José operates as an independent artist with PLATO-PLATEAU and independently since January 2023 and September 2021, respectively. Other notable roles include working with Fundación Prisma, where responsibilities involve production technique for the Prisma Festival Internacional de Danse Contemporaine de Panamá, and as an artiste and metteure en scène with LASA and Sin Diploma, cradores. Teaching experience spans several institutions, including Politécnico Grancolombiano and Escuela Nacional de Danza de Cuba. José holds a D.E.S.S in Arts, création et technologie from Université de Montréal and multiple advanced degrees in theatrical studies and artistic management from prestigious institutions, reflecting a profound commitment to the performing arts.
