Julien Simard

Julien Simard is a postdoctoral researcher at CREMIS, focusing on the study of violence in rental relationships among aging tenants. Simard has extensive experience in academia as a course instructor at the Université de Montréal, teaching subjects such as palliative care, violence, and health geography, in addition to serving as an assistant researcher on projects related to end-of-life trajectories. Simard has also contributed as a consultant for the Ville de Montréal, addressing public leisure accessibility for immigrants and racialized groups. With a rich background in audio production and music for over 25 years, Simard produces podcasts and provides customized training through Sons hybrides. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Philosophy from INRS, a Master's in Anthropology, and a Bachelor's in Anthropology from Université de Montréal.
