Mélisande Teng

Mélisande Teng is a PhD student in computer science at Mila, under the supervision of Prof. Yoshua Bengio, and has served as a research assistant at Future Earth since May 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a visiting research intern at Mila and a fellow at the Voting Rights Data Institute. Mélisande has worked on impactful projects such as developing machine learning models for public health and creating deep learning approaches for energy-efficient building renovations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Vision, and Learning from École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, along with a Master of Science from CentraleSupélec and studies in management at ESSEC Business School. Additionally, Mélisande has a diverse background in computer science, engineering, and music, underscored by a Diploma in Piano from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris.
