Simon-Pierre Houtain

Simon-Pierre Houtain, CIA, PMP, currently serves as the Deputy Internal Audit Director at Université de Montréal since December 2021, having previously held the position of Internal Audit Manager. Prior to this, Simon-Pierre worked at Deloitte Canada from September 2011 to December 2021, where responsibilities included managing Internal Audit, Compliance, and SOX projects and overseeing team and project management. Additionally, experience includes a managerial role at Mercado do Ouro, where oversight spanned accounting and financial control, as well as earlier roles in foreign trade and logistics. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Controllership and Audit from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor of Commerce in Foreign Trade from HELMo.
