Jérôme L. Proulx

Jérôme L. Proulx, Ph.D., currently serves as a board member at Desjardins since January 2024 and works as a research valuation and technology transfer advisor at Université Laval since April 2022. Key responsibilities include negotiating contracts, analyzing the potential of innovations in health, agriculture, and agri-food sectors, managing a portfolio of patents, and providing strategic advice on copyright and licensing for open-source software. Jérôme previously acquired extensive research experience, including roles as a doctoral student and master's student at the Centre de recherche du CHU de Québec-Université Laval and research positions at the University of Cambridge and CRCHUM. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Université Laval and additional certificates in computer science and patent law.
