Hazizan Md Akil

Prof Hazizan Md Akil is a distinguished scholar and educator at Universiti Sains Malaysia, where the individual has served as a Professor since June 2002. With a strong academic background, Prof Hazizan earned a Ph.D. from the University of Liverpool, focusing on the impact response of composite sandwich structures, and holds a BEng in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the University of North London, along with diplomas in Rubber and Plastics Technology and Natural Rubber Processing from MARA Institute of Technology and the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia, respectively. Prof Hazizan has garnered 15 local and international awards for academic and scientific contributions, including recognitions from Geneva Exhibition, ITEX, MTE, PENCIPTA, and i-ENVEX.
