Sahra Ali

Sahra Ali, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Universities Canada, a position held since September 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing the annual financial cycle and serving as the Secretary of the Finance & Audit Committee. Previously, Sahra held roles within the same organization as Director of Financial Services and Manager of Accounting, where leadership extended to accounting operations and financial system improvements. Earlier experience includes a supervisory role in customer service at the Canadian Museum of History. Sahra holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation from CPA Ontario and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
