Ryan Hess

Ryan Hess is a consultant at The Jacobs Institute, focusing on the development of new medical devices, particularly the IRRAflow catheter. As a neurosurgery resident at University at Buffalo Neurosurgery, Ryan actively engages in the care of critically ill patients while refining medical and surgical skills. Additional roles include serving as a peer reviewer for World Neurosurgery, teaching the revamped MCAT at Kaplan, and conducting research on migraines at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy. Ryan's research experience also includes collecting angiography data at the Toshiba Stroke and Vascular Research Center and serving as a teaching assistant for human anatomy. Ryan holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University at Buffalo and is currently pursuing an MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
